What is eUICC?
The hardware chip inside your phone that holds eSIM profiles. The "embedded" version of the traditional UICC found in physical SIM cards.

Every eSIM-capable phone has an eUICC chip. It can store multiple eSIM profiles (typically up to 8 on modern iPhones) with one or two active at a time. travel.to's QR code installs a profile onto your phone's eUICC.
