travel.to
For families

eSIM for family travel.

Everyone's phone stays online without a kiosk-hopping trip after baggage claim. Family trips have two adults and N kids, each with their own phone. Equipping everyone with a working line before the trip — instead of fighting hotel WiFi for everyone's devices — saves the first 24 hours of holiday.

Why travel.to for families

What we built specifically for this use.

  • 1

Each family member installs their own QR — Apple's Family Sharing doesn't cover eSIMs, so each phone needs its own plan.

  • 2

Kids on iPhone SE or older iPad without cellular: they're fine on the family's WiFi hotspot from one travel.to-enabled device.

  • 3

5 GB / 7 days is plenty for kids on Spotify + YouTube + the occasional video to grandma. Adults usually want the 14-day.

  • 4

If one of the four eSIMs fails, refund button on each order — you're not stuck because of someone else's phone.

Questions families ask

Quick answers.

Yes. Buy each plan separately (different email per QR is OK, or all to one email). Each gets its own QR and its own dashboard entry.
The 2016 iPhone SE (1st gen) does NOT support eSIM. The 2020 and 2022 SE (2nd and 3rd gen) do. For the 1st gen, your child can use someone else's phone as a hotspot.
Full refund if it fails to activate. Half refund if it activates but underperforms. One click from your dashboard, no support thread.
No. travel.to runs as a second line. Your home number stays on its primary SIM and keeps receiving calls + SMS, including 2FA codes from banks.
